Yves Vetter

Born and raised in Boston MA, Yves migrated west by way of study at the University of Chicago and UW. He has lived in Seattle and loved the PNW since first staring at Mt Rainier from an airplane in 1990.

Prior to joining evolution Projects Yves had four decades experience in the trades, including 20 years as owner-operator of residential remodel and high performance building construction companies, with side projects in microbiology and oceanography. Focus throughout has been on preserving and improving older buildings, constructing with respect for history, craft, and community, and the role of the built environment in shaping and sustaining culture.

Yves lives in NE Seattle with his wife Sue and their kids Madden and Georgia. In his free time he enjoys eating and outdoor play in the hills and ocean with his family, reading, and recreational off-grid construction.
