// Seattle's Fremont Neighborhood

Innovate. Create. Connect.

Repurposing underutilized spaces in great neighborhoods has been a theme for all of our projects.  Once a warehouse and home to a food-services business on the edge of Fremont, transformed into an anchor for the ski, snowboard and action sports lifestyle community in Seattle when evo* opened in 2005.  Building 122 is a prime example of taking a space with potential for a spectrum of uses and breathing fresh life into what was once a non-descript tilt up concrete warehouse building.  evo was an art gallery, music and movie venue, offices, and retail store all wrapped up into one.

Now the former evo building or Building 122 as we are calling it, carries the theme of repurposing and collaboration that now houses evo’s corporate headquarters.

*evo (, the retail business is not directly affiliated with evolution Projects. The evo store is an early adaptive re-use project managed by Bryce Phillips, founder of evo and partner at evolution Projects.
