Born in what was then Communist Poland, Anna grew up in a small town in the Southwest of the country. She studied law at the University of Wroclaw until one day she decided to put her studies on hold for a year so she could live in an English speaking country and learn the language. She arrived to Seattle in late 2000 and loved it so much that she decided to stay. While still learning English, Anna graduated from the University of Washington and was hired by ING Clarion (now Clarion Partners) as a financial analyst in their Seattle office.
During her eight years with Clarion, Anna was part of the acquisition team covering the Northwest, Northern California, Arizona and Colorado. She had opportunities to acquire commercial real estate projects of all types and risk levels including multifamily, office, retail and industrial. During the recent economic downturn when acquisition activities were limited, Anna was involved in asset management of a number of office properties located in the Seattle and San Francisco areas.
Outside of work, Anna loves to play tennis and enjoy the outdoors biking, hiking and skiing. She loves travelling and makes sure that in addition to her annual trips to Poland to visit her family, she has the chance to explore new destinations.
Anna, her husband, and their three kids live in the Queen Anne neighborhood of Seattle.
